- The Brecht Forum - a place for people who are working for social justice, equality and a new culture that puts human needs first. The Brecht Forum offers a wide-ranging program of classes, public lectures and seminars, art exhibitions, performances, popular education workshops, and language classes. - Housing Works Used Book Cafe - New/used books and volunteer cafe. Proceeds go to housing, medical services for those living with HIV. 126 Crosby Street.
- Tamiment Library & Robert F. Wagner Labor Archives - At New York University's Bobst library on the 10th floor, this archives houses probably the largest collection of radical American history in the country! Amazing collection of anarchist, socialist, communist, feminist, black, native, and labor movement histories.
- Time's Up! Space We are hosting meetings, workshops and free video screenings at this space. 49 East Houston Street

- NYMAA Website - nymaa.org's website calendar is the most updated and up to date calendar of anarchist events in NYC and region.
- Time's Up! - The environmental direct action group. Lists bike rides like critical mass, movie nights, etc.
- Freegan - An environmental group focused on curbing over consumption through dumpster diving. Hosts regular tours of NYC's finest food finding spots.

- A New World In Our Hearts Distro - Printing and distributing Radical literature in NYC (in various forms) since 2002. In the fall 2005 we lost our space in Brooklyn, but have kept busy, tabling events, on the side walks, and in the parks as we look for a new space.
- August Sound Coalition - The August Sound Coalition is a group of independent sound/transmission artists, journalists, and musicians who initially converged to create A-Noise, an autonomous media project coincident with the Republican National Convention and protests in New York City. August Sound Coalition survives as a collective based in New York, and will continue bringing our unique broadcasts to the public. Over the course of the next year we will work towards the development of new independent community radio stations for Brooklyn and lower Manhattan.
- Autonomedia - Autonomedia is an autonomous zone for arts radicals in both old and new media. We publish books on radical media, politics and the arts that seek to transcend party lines, bottom lines and straight lines. We also maintain the Interactivist Info Exchange, an online forum for discourse and debate on themes relevant to the books we publish.
- Bombs and Shields - Stories of resistance and struggle, from around the world, meant to inspire strong hearts.
- Institute for Anarchist Studies - Promoting critical scholarship on social domination and the reconstructive vision of a free society
- Left Turn - Collective, volunteer, anti-authoritarian magazine with two editors based in NYC. Covers movements of resistance here and abroad. Quarterly.
- Libertarian Book Club - The Libertarian Book Club is an independent publisher and political organization, founded in the late 1940s by a group that included Gregory Maximoff, Sam Dolgoff and Valerio Isca. It has published original and translated texts written from various anarchist and syndicalist perspectives, and re-printed earlier texts that have influenced left-wing politics.
- The New York Rat - New York City anarchist paper.
- NY Independent Media Center - The NYC Independent Media Center is a grassroots organization committed to using media production and distribution as tools for promoting social and economic justice in the New York City Area. The NYC IMC is one of over 130 Indymedia chapters doing this work around the world.
- Paper Tiger TV - Paper Tiger Television (PTTV) is an open, non-profit, volunteer video collective. Through the production and distribution of our public access series, media literacy/video production workshops, community screenings and grassroots advocacy PTTV works to challenge and expose the corporate control of mainstream media. PTTV believes that increasing public awareness of the negative influence of mass media and involving people in the process of making media is mandatory for our long term goal of information equity.
- The Shadow Press - Publishing the Shadow, an underground anarchist newspaper since 1989 though not very often. Also publishes a number of pamphlets and comics.

- Family and Friends of Daniel McGowan - Daniel McGowan is an environmental and social justice activist, unjustly arrested and charged in federal court on multiple counts of arson, property destruction, and conspiracy, relating to two incidents that occurred in Oregon in 2001. Daniel has asserted his innocence by pleading not guilty to all charges. He is facing a minimum of life in prison if convicted. Family and Friends of Daniel McGowan. - National Lawyer’s Guild - The largest public-interest human rights legal organization.
- NY Friends of Jeff Luers - Providing monetary, legal, and social support for political prisoner Jeff Luers.

- Critical Resistance - Critical Resistance seeks to build an international movement to end the Prison Industrial Complex by challenging the belief that caging and controlling people makes us safe. We believe that basic necessities such as food, shelter, and freedom are what really make our communities secure. As such, our work is part of global struggles against inequality and powerlessness. The success of the movement requires that it reflect communities most affected by the PIC. Because we seek to abolish the PIC, we cannot support any work that extends its life or scope.
- Curious George Brigade - The Curious George Brigade is an anarchist collective (or, as it styles itself, an "elusive anarchist thinktank"). It is a part of the larger CrimethInc. network. The CGB produced the book Anarchy in the Age of Dinosaurs, a meditation on anarchism which displays tendencies of post-left anarchy along with videos, articles and a zine about urban anarchy.
- Direct Action Networking Collective (DANCE) New School student group hosts bi-weekly movie nights.
- Estacion Libre - People of Color Zapatista solidarity group. Since its inception, Estacion Libre has organized 16 delegations of people of color to meet and dialogue with communities in resistance in Chiapas. Delegations have included students, teachers, and community organizers aged 18-56 years old, from various cities in the US and Canada. We have also hosted groups organizing their own delegations and projects. Delegates receive a comprehensive orientation on the situation in Chiapas and visit a number of indigenous communities where they learn first hand about the Zapatista struggle and the repression people face in this context.
- In Our Hearts Collective - Hosts monthly Grub community dinners, dumpster tours, and The Really Really Free Market, In the past they've organized anti-war and anti-border actions and marches, counter-recruitment flyering, a four day May Day festival and they operated the In Our Hearts Infoshop and Lending Library and the Brooklyn Free Store (RIP). Currently planning for a May Day Really Really Free Market and immigration action and more counter-recruitment actions in addition to Grub dinners.
- Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) - Anarcho-syndicalist union, making a comeback from 100 years! Working on organizing Starbucks, Fresh Direct, Amersino workers and more.
- Jericho Movement - Jericho is a movement with the defined goal of gaining recognition of the fact that political prisoners and prisoners of war exist inside of the United States despite the United States’ government’s continued denial ... and winning amnesty and freedom for these political prisoners.
- M.A.M.A. - Strengthening community among women, fighting for mother’s and children’s rights.
- New York Collective of Radical Educators (NYCoRE) - NYCoRE is a group of public school educators committed to fighting for social justice in our school system and society at large, by organizing and mobilizing teachers, developing curriculum, and working with community, parent, and student organizations. We are educators who believe that education is an integral part of social change and that we must work both inside and outside the classroom because the struggle for justice does not end when the school bell rings.
- New York Metro Alliance of Anarchists (NYMAA) - "NYMAA is a broad organization of anarchists and anti-authoritarians who live in the New York metropolitan area. NYMAA is a social revolutionary organization. Thus, our ultimate aim is to eradicate all forms of authoritarianism, hierarchy, and domination and help build a genuinely liberatory, self-managed, directly democratic society. To that end our immediate aim is to bring anarchists together on a common plane of struggle for the purpose of growing and expanding the movement and spreading our ideas."
- New York Youth Bloc - A coalition of high schoolers fighting for peace, justice & empowerment.
- NorthEastern Federation of Anarcho-Communists (NEFAC) - The Northeastern Federation of Anarcho-Communists (NEFAC) is a bi-lingual (French and English) organization of revolutionaries from the northeastern region of North America who identify with the communist tradition within anarchism. We oppose all forms of oppression and exploitation, and struggle for a classless, stateless, non-hierarchical society.
- Radical Cheerleaders - A collectively-run squad open to anyone interested-no tryouts involved.
- Radical Reference - Librarians who support activists by providing research support, access to information, and fact-checking workshops for independent journalists.

- Sista II Sista - A collective of black and Latina mothers, based in Bushwick, which works together to strengthen community resistance against police brutality, domestic violence, and patriarchy. They also do delegations to Argentina and Chiapas to learn about other forms of social organizing outside of the non-profit sphere.
- Surveillance Camera Players - Conducts free walking tours of heavily surveilled neighborhoods.
- Time’s Up! - Direct-action environmental group using events & education to promote a more sustainable, less toxic city, hosts a free movie night and bike repair workshops.
- Workers Solidarity Alliance - Workers Solidarity Alliance (WSA) is a United States political activist group that advocates anarcho-syndicalism; WSA is not a trade union or proto-union. WSA advocates the development of self-managed solidarity unionism, through either reform of existing unions or creation of
new self-managed mass organizations in workplace struggles.
