October 22nd Coalition to Stop Police Brutality, the Mechas,
and the Anarchists. They wanted to take the streets and speak

These are images from the DNC protests including the entrapment
of critical mass cylists on 8/15/2000. After being escorted
by police cruisers, bicycles and motorcycles for nearly an
hour, critical mass bicycle riders were corralled under the
10 freeway, violently arrested and detained for nearly 48
hours.

Corridor Opened to Receive Fellow Marchers

Near the conclusion of the Police Brutality March, Anarchist
and other marchers open a corridor to receive fellow marchers
who had been separated into two groups by police after a minor
confrontation between police and marchers. Lawyers Guild members
and others negotiated successfully with police to allow the
marchers to reunite, defusing a tense standoff.
