Slug and Lettuce is a newsprint, free, quarterly punk zine started in New York City and currently based in Richmond, Virginia. Slug and Lettuce has long been an important resource for the DIY /anarcho-punk community, containing lots of columns pertaining to anti-authoritarian politics, veg/vegan action, radical parenting, DIY culture, gardening, activism etc. Slug & Lettuce also features zine, book & record reviews, and Chris(tine) Boarts-Larson's excellent band photography.

Slug and Lettuce has featured the comic Zero Content by Fly, the Folk Punk art of Jeremy Clark & the Medieval Punk art of Sean Goblin.

Chris(tine) Boarts-Larson also writes a column for MaximumRocknroll and runs a book distro.

Slug and Lettuce can be reached at PO Box 26632 Richmond, VA 23261-6632. Individual copies can be got in the United States for 60 cents in stamps.
