[edit] About the Midwest Action Network
Anti-authoritarians, activists, and anyone else who wants to work on projects that involve mutual aid and autonomy rather than state-based charity may use this site. The Midwest Action Network is a website that acts as a networking hub for the Midwest/Great Lakes region. The website was formed after the Great Lakes Anarchist Gathering (August 19th & 20th 2006) in hopes of continuing and expanding contact between groups throughout the region. The purpose of this site is to create a place where people can come and post about their city and also act as an alternative to corporate social networking sites.
