Anti-war protests, actions and other events are scheduled around the world for mid-March 2006. These protests are scheduled in conjunction with the third anniversary of the current phase of the U.S.-Iraq War, a conflict which has been ongoing since January 1991.

  • Stop Funding It - Daily direct action: avoid, evade and/or resist the federal income tax. You're not opposing the war if you're still paying for it.
  • Young People's Resistance to Three Years of War - March 16, 2006. On March 16, the National Youth and Student Peace Coalition (NYSPC) is joining with our allies across the movement to call for a national day of youth- and student-led cultural resistance against three years of needless war.

  • March 19, Sunday: State wide antiwar rally and march in Denver starting at 12:30 pm at East high School and then marching to the capitol.
  • March 19, Sunday: Camp Casey rally at Nevada/Dale, 2pm, bannering and pizza.
  • March 20, Monday: Iraq Veterans Against the War coordinated actions at offices of Salazar, Helfley, Allard to demand a withdrawal from Iraq.

On the third anniversary of the war, Sunday, March 19, 2006 a rally and march to Stop the War Now and Bring Our Troops Home will take place in Dallas at 2:00 p.m.
