Anti-war protests, actions and other events are scheduled around the world for April 2006. These protests are part of ongoing movements against the current phase of the U.S.-Iraq War, a conflict which has been ongoing since January 1991.

- Kansas and Missouri Anti-War Summit - April 8, 2006 9:30am-6pm. Ecumenical Christian Ministries Building. 1204 Oread, Lawrence Kansas. This event is being sponsored by the April Convergence Committee, a group of Lawrence Kansas based anti-war activists.

Weekly actions against the military recruiting center of New London. 9AM, @ 78 Howard Street, off of Bank Street at Colombus Circle. The aim of these actions will be to shut the recruiting center down. There will be space for NV CD and DA for those who wish to risk arrest. Sponsored by the Stop the War Coalition of Southeastern CT, which includes members of Voluntown Peace Trust, Global Call, CCLeft (SDS chapter of Connecticut College), Southeastern CT Peace and Justice, St. Francis House, Catholic Workers, War Resister's League, and others.
