Comision de Relaciones Anarquistas

Comision de Relaciones Anarquistas (CRA) translated as Anarchist Relations Commission, is a Venezuelan anarchist organization. The group has been operating for over ten years, participating in social movements and publishing the periodical El Libertario since November 1995, as well as running a website by the same name.
The CRA is a group insistent on avoiding dogmatism and organizing around the broad concept of anarchism. While many leftists have clamored around Hugo Chavez in unwavering support of his high-profile reforms the CRA has remained critical of both Chavez and the regime, arguing that true liberation must still come from the grassroots, not through a powerful figure-heard or political party.
In addition to distributing the magazine El Libertario, the group has also opened the Centro de Estudios Sociales Libertarios - CESL [Center for Social Anarchist Studies], organized several anarcho-punk festivals and participated in movements for environmental justice, in opposition to the prison system, against the war in Iraq, in favor of women's rights and against neo-liberal globalization.
