NPO's are one of the things hold back a mass movement of the poor, subverting the movement with government and corporate grants, 501c3 regulatory legal status, and white/elite manipulation of funding to hold back a militant agenda. The INCITE Sistas were the first ones to deal with this, but others have know it for years. We have to crush the legal NPO/NGO model right along with the capitalist corporations.
