Black Planet Radical Books Brings Radical Reading Groups to Baltimore

Black Planet Books introduces Radical Readings, a monthly series of reading and discussion groups, to Baltimore at 7:30 pm on January 6th, 1998. The series will start with an appearance by Len Bracken, whose most recent work is "Guy Debord - Revolutionary," the first biography of the theorist of the Situationist International best known as author of "Society of the Spectacle."

Baltimore's radical bookstore continues its tradition of bringing radical books to the community by co-hosting this event with Funk's Democratic Coffee Spot at 1818 Eastern Avenue in the same Fells Point neighborhood Black Planet calls home. Come enjoy some hot java or a tasty snack and discuss literature you won't find anywhere else in Baltimore!
