Show Support for Brendan Walsh

News ArchiveBrendan Walsh is currently imprisoned for throwing a Molotov cocktail through the window of an armed forces recruiting station in Vestal, NY, near Binghamton in April of 2003. He has been incacerated since early 2005.

Walsh, through intimidation, pled guilty to the charges of arson, and is now being held until July of 2008. He will also be under state supervision for three years after his release.

Brendan was transfered several months ago from Allenwood, PA to Lisbon, Ohio. Since his transfer, he has lost much of any previous correspondence he had received from supporters on the outside and thus has been unable to reconnect to those that had written him in the past.

Brendan has communicated that he is battling bouts of depression and that he has felt very isolated from those on the outside.

Please send Brendan your love and show him that he has the support of our movement for what he has done. We don't want people to feel discouraged and alienated for militantly confronting the current war.

Send letters, cards, and words of support and love:

Brendan Walsh 12473-052
FCI/FSL Elkton
PO Box 10
Lisbon, OH 44432

Remember, he is in federal prison, so everything he receives is likely to be read, and standard prison mail regulations apply. The best bet is to send a plain letter or store procured/purchased (not handmade with glue, glitter, etc..) card that does not have glitter or adhesives on it.

In love and solidarity,
Kansas Mutual Aid
Lawrence, Kansas
