1: Chicago Regional Consulta October 11-12th that aims to continue the discussions that happened in Louisville and Pittsburgh. 2: Southwest Regional FTAA consulta in Denver during the Transform Columbus Day mobilization in Denver (oct 10-13th). This will include reportbacks from Colorado FTAA caravan, mainstream organizers, Pittsburg Organizing Group consulta, on the ground radicals in Miami, Padded Bloc discussion, Other strategies/scenario discussion. 3: Lansing Michigan is holding a weekend of FTAA forums October 25-26th. This will include educational forums as well as discussions about networking, tactics and mobilizations for Miami, non-violence and self defense, what to expect there, what has come out of the pittsburgh and chicago consultas and much more. 4: The Great Plains Anarchist Network is holding a Caucus in Kirksville - October 18-19 This will include a workshop on the Miami Padded Bloc and First Aid Trainings. 6: Gainesville, FL spolescouncil: The consulta will gather a diverse range of people who plan to actively resist the eighth ministerial meeting of the Free Trade Area of the Americas. The consulta is open to new and experienced, Florida/southeast region and national or international people alike. 7: Yale, New Haven, CT: Northeast FTAA Consulta Nov 2nd- network, train, plan, and strategize for the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA) Ministerial in Miami (Nov 17 to 21). We can shut it down! Spokescouncil is on Nov. 2nd but there are a ton more events and coolness throughout the Oct 31st-Nov 2nd festival.

8: Discussions are under way among groups about whether to hold a Padded Bloc spokecouncil Nov. 19th in Miami. Whether or not this occurs will depend on whether it’s logistically feasible and how worthwhile groups feel it would be.

We\'re trying to keep the site up to date with the schedule of events in Miami, links to organizing groups, and of course info for local yinzers.

November 8th and 9th Outside of Austin Texas is the Radical Encuentro Camp, which is going to be full of all kinds of workshops as well as reflection on the CAFTA protests in Houston, and preparation for the FTAA in Miami.
